From enabled Webex users, we collect incoming phone calls to their devices. For each incoming call, we analyze the phone number to obtain its reputation (FRAUD, SPAM or NORMAL).

Personally identifiable information

When you register for or use the Cloud Service, we may collect:

• Name
• Email address
• Phone number
• Webex account details, such as user ID and associated email address

Usage information

We collect incoming phone calls to the devices of registered Webex users.

2. How we use the information

We use the information we collect for:

• Service delivery: analyzing incoming calls to devices belonging to registered Webex users.
• Security: preventing telephone fraud and misleading telephone advertising (spam).

3. How we share information

We do not sell or rent your personal information. We may share information with:

• Service providers: We only use third-party cloud services to analyze the reputation of phone numbers from incoming calls, without sharing the calls themselves. Our processing and storage servers are currently our own, but this may change in the future.
• Legal authorities: We may share information to comply with legal requirements, judicial proceedings or legitimate government requests.
• Other parties following business changes: In a merger, acquisition or asset sale, information may be transferred to the new entity.

4. Information security

We take reasonable measures to protect the personal information we collect. We use safeguards such as data encryption and restricted access to sensitive information. However, no Internet transmission or storage system can be guaranteed to be 100% secure.

5. Data retention

We retain information for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes for which it was collected and in accordance with applicable legal or contractual requirements. If you delete your account, we will delete associated information unless we are legally required to retain it.

Although our Cloud Service is viewed in the Webex application, a web browser may be used to register organization users and settings. You can configure your browser to reject cookies, although this may affect some application features.

8. Links to other websites

Links from our Cloud Service to other websites or services do not compromise the privacy of your data. The only third-party service we use is queried solely for the reputation of phone numbers, not for the calls themselves, which also contain the user’s number and name, organization name, date and time.
